Who can enter the Employee Happiness Awards - South Africa?

Any organisation or individual in South Africa can participate, provided they have relevant initiatives, programs, or achievements aligned with the award categories.

How much does it cost to enter?

Organisations may nominate in up to four categories, and the nomination process is completely free of cost.

What is the process to enter the awards?

It’s a simple four-step journey:

  1. Submit your online nomination form
  2. Finalists announced
  3. Finalist presentations to the Jury
  4. Winners announced

What is the eligibility period for the awards?

Your initiative, program, or campaign must have been active at least partly from July 2025 onwards.

How many categories can we enter?

Organisations may nominate in up to four categories, and the nomination process is completely free of cost.

What are your confidentiality policies?

We recognise that nominations may include sensitive business information. All submissions are reviewed solely by Jury members who are bound by confidentiality and screened for conflicts of interest. Here are our Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy for your review

What is the deadline to nominate?

All deadlines and key dates are provided on the Nomination Process page.

What is the format of the final presentations?

Only shortlisted finalists present to the Jury panel. All presentations are conducted virtually. Each finalist is allocated a 20-minute presentation slot, which includes a Q&A session with the Jury. Winners are selected based on the quality and evaluation of these final presentations.

How many team members can join the final presentation?

We suggest a team of 2-3 members for an effective presentation, though this is a recommendation rather than a requirement.

When will the winners be announced?

Winners will be revealed at the Gala Awards Ceremony in Johannesberg, on 16th October 2026

Do we need to purchase tickets for the Gala Awards Ceremony?

Ticket purchase is not mandatory. However, we strongly recommend attending to celebrate your team and enjoy the full awards experience.

When and where will the awards take place?

The Gala Awards Ceremony will be hosted at a 5-star venue in Johannesberg. Details to be revealed shortly.
