1. Ownership of Submitted Content
All materials submitted as part of the Award nomination remain the property of the submitting organisation. By submitting, you grant Employee Happiness Awards South Africa a limited license to review and evaluate the materials solely for the purpose of judging the Awards.
2. Confidentiality by Default
Unless explicit consent is given via the nomination form:
- All information submitted will remain confidential.
- It will be accessed only by the Awards operations team and jury.
- It will not be published, shared, sold, or distributed.
- It will be deleted within three (3) months after the Awards conclude.
3. Optional Usage Rights (With Consent Only)
If consent is granted:
a. Media & Communications Consent
You grant us the right to use your initiative title and case study for Award-related publicity, media, and communication.
b. Data & Research Consent
You grant us the right to use anonymized and aggregated data for research, analytics, benchmarking, and programme development.
4. Withdrawal of Consent
Participants may withdraw their consent at any time by emailing our team. Withdrawal will apply to future use and will not affect any usage already published under prior consent.
5. Data Protection Compliance
We comply with applicable South Africa data protection standards and take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
